My husband and I and our families could not have been happier with our choice to ask Stephanie Day to plan our wedding. What could have been a maddeningly stressful three months was instead a relaxed and exciting time. Stephanie’s skills in wedding planning were especially evident in her professionalism and organization. She explained her services clearly and provided several options for how far her involvement in planning and coordinating could extend, but also made it clear that she could be flexible for us. Being in the event planning business in the Maryland area for over ten years meant that she already had access to information regarding vendors we could hire, etiquette to use, budgeting plans, timelines to follow, and other countless details we had little time to research. She asked the right questions to get the best picture of what our vision was for our wedding. She caught all the details – big and small. I felt certain nothing would escape her attention. I could tell she kept track of our information (our wishes, needs, plans, contributions, budget) as well as that of the other vendors and coordinated accordingly. The day of the wedding and the days leading up Stephanie was both calm and deliberate. I knew throughout the process that she highly valued my input and cared very much about whether my husband and I were happy with how plans and the wedding were going. In summation: I would and do recommend to everyone I know to hire Stephanie for any event planning needs. I knew my mother and I would be far too stressed to plan my wedding no matter how long my engagement would be, and I loved knowing that I could trust Stephanie to put the wheels in motion for a ceremony and reception we would cherish always.
