You will frequently hear Stephanie Day, owner and event manager, say “I love what I do!” Stephanie, who has been a professional event and meeting planner for over 20 years, is experienced in researching, planning, coordinating and executing a variety of events from corporate meetings to theme parties to weddings of all sizes.
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master of science in management, a certified professional wedding consultant through the Association of Bridal Consultants and 20 years of event planning experience, Stephanie has a broad range of education coupled with extensive hands-on experience in a variety of settings. She is able handle the logistics, budget and emotions involved with all types of events and weddings. Laurel, a bridal client said: “The best thing about Stephanie was that she was not overbearing or pushy at all–she simply listened to what we wanted, checked in with us when we needed her to, and kept everything steady and on-track.” A number of venues and vendors frequently recommend us to their clients because of our excellent working relationship, dedicated customer service and successful track record.
Known for her cool head and quick thinking during events, Stephanie thrives off the excitement and fast-paced environment during events and loves helping a couple relax and enjoy their wedding day or providing the manager the time to handle the corporate VIP’s.
Stephanie Day Events is a full-time business for Stephanie and also employs a team of experienced event professionals to assist in day-of-event coordination as needed. In addition to event planning, Stephanie is also a travel agent affiliated with a local agency. This way she can offer you seamless planning from the moment you say “Yes!” to the honeymoon!

Anjie first fell in love with wedding planning when she got married oh-so-many years ago. Her dream job finally became a reality more than five years ago when she became a wedding coordinator. Anjie has worked with Stephanie Day Events for over 3 years, first as a day-of assistant coordinator and now planning and coordinating weddings for us as the primary planner.
A self-proclaimed perfectionist, Anjie pours her heart and soul into making sure your wedding day is a true reflection of who you are. Her favorite part of the wedding day? When the couple sees each other for the very first time. That emotion can never be matched!
When she is not planning weddings, Anjie enjoys traveling to the beaches of North Carolina and the Caribbean with her husband and two sons.
As a makeup artist, Stephania knew she loved the event industry. After deciding to make events her career, she began helping friends and family plan parties and events while still continuing as a makeup artist. Stephania was connected with Stephanie Day Events through a mutual friend this year and has been working with Stephanie as an assistant coordinator on many weddings.
Stephania is extremely detail oriented and thinks ahead so she’s readily able to problem-solve before there is even a problem!
Originally from Haiti and a former dancer, Stephania enjoys time with her husband and two children with another on the way.
